hi! I'm alex

This Calamus Estate Winery wedding is romantic, elegant, and full of love. Beth Jacobs Weddings & Events pulled all of the beautiful details planned by the bride together, to create the most magical day that highlighted Meaghan and Emerson’s love story. Photographed by Becca Vey Photography, the vineyards inspired a natural, outdoor celebration that was enjoyed by everyone.

The Details

We LOVE a good details shot! Blanche Heirloom Co created the most beautiful stationery for M+E and Beth Jacobs knows just how to style it for those perfect detail photos. If you’re considering getting personalized, custom stationery created for your special day, we highly recommend it! It’s a small detail that makes a large impact in personalizing your wedding celebration to you!

The Ceremony

The lush, circler arbour designed in front of the vineyard rows, made for the most romantic spot for Meaghan & Emerson to say “I do”. We designed a full coverage circle arbour with seasonal foliage, blush flowers like Quicksand Roses, and white and cream flowers like Playa Blanca Roses, Lisianthus, Delphinium, Dahlias, and Panicle Hydrangea.

Cocktails in The Vines

Beth Jacobs designed the most unique space for guests to enjoy cocktail hour post-ceremony. With lounge furniture from Simply Beautiful Decor and the perfect weather, guests were able to sip refreshments and mingle amongst the rows of grape vines. Truly, an epic way to enhance the winery-style wedding experience!

The Reception

The open-air, covered barn from Calamus Estate Winery provides the feeling of dining outdoors, while having the assurance of a covered space in case of inclement weather. With all of the wooden beams, the space was softened with draping from Boutique Linen Rentals and the tables were accented with soft linens in the perfect shade of blush. While guests were mingling post-ceremony, our team managed to reconstruct the ceremony arbour florals into a completely new design for the couple’s dramatic sweetheart head table.

Remember that ceremony arbour? Well this it it now! By reconfiguring what once was a circular arbour, we were able to create a completely different look using the same florals! When possible, we encourage repurposing your ceremony florals into the reception space, most often for the head table design.
