hi! I'm alex

Whistle Bear Golf Club made for the perfect location to celebrate Loreanne & Kevin’s wedding. These romantic flowers looked breathtaking in the space and it was an amazing team of wedding professionals that helped make this day as special as it was. With the couple, Rainbow Chan Weddings planned the most amazing day, making sure to take all the little things into account. It was super important for all the details to be captured perfectly and that is exactly what Katie Nicolle Photography and Venture Films did.

The Romantic Flowers

The dreamiest and most romantic colour palette of blush, dusty rose, and creams were used for Loreanne and Kelvin’s Whistle Bear wedding. The blooms used in the designs included quicksand, playa blanca, and cappuccino roses, as well as blush ranunculus, mocha and white lisianthus, sweet pea and more! Paired with italian rucus, new zealand pittosporum, and eucalyptus, the arrangements were a nod to a dreamy garden.

Whistle Bear Weddings

Loreanne and Kelvin’s ceremony took place in Whistle Bears’ Garden Chapel. This charming open-aired chapel features views of the beautiful gardens and a picture perfect backdrop of Whistle Bears’ well manicured grounds. The ceremony space was completed with a wooden cross that was handmade by the bride’s father making it extra special. We love when couples can add their own personal touches to their venue because it makes the whole day unique and special to the couple.

The reception then took place in Whistle Bears’ Rose Room. The surrounding windows give views of the golf course and the gardens. Beautiful crystal chandeliers hang from the 20-foot ceilings with exposed hand-carved beams. Tables with blush linens, blooming florals, deckled-edge stationery, and blushing candles transformed The Rose Room.

Kind Words From The Couple

“Alex and her team designed the florals for our wedding on August 26, 2021. Our guests loved them, they were beautiful, 1000% better than what I had in mind. I love that her designs are so organic and nature-inspired. Alex was so awesome during the entire process of planning (almost 1.5 year we worked together with 2 postponements). She is very patient and detailed. I highly recommend her!”
