Only the best of blooms were used for this intimate spring Paletta Mansion wedding. Amy and Nathan’s wedding took place in the spring of 2021, between multiple pandemic lockdowns. With several wedding date changes, the couple and their families decided to move forward with wedding celebrations, so long as immediate family members could be present. Planned by KJ & Co, the ceremony was held on the terrace of Paletta Mansion and an intimate reception took place in the bride’s parent’s home.
Spring Bouquets
Spring is many florist’s favourite season because there are just so many beautiful flowers and blossoms to design with. With the plethora of spring flowers to include in their white and blushing flower colour palette, the star ingredients in Amy’s bouquet are peonies, spirea, Westminster Abbey garden roses, agrostemma, ranunculus, campanula, and sweet pea. Accented with trailing silk ribbons in the faintest blush colour, this bouquet was simply romantic!
The Ceremony
The ceremony took place on the terrace of Paletta Mansion, surrounded by multiple ground meadow arrangements that ran along the venue’s stone wall, overlooking Lake Ontario. A beautiful, sunny day gave way for an extremely touching ceremony, while guests enjoyed the outdoor gardens and fresh air.
Following their ceremony, Will Reid was able to capture some gorgeous couple portraits of Amy and Nathan. Walking the grounds of Paletta Mansion, in Burlington, ON, the couple revelled in their newlywed bliss.
An Intimate Reception
The intimate reception was held at the bride’s childhood home, where her parents had been tirelessly renovating and preparing the main floor just for this occasion. Lovely tableware rentals by Simply Beautiful Decor, provided a pop of dusty blue amongst the garden-inspired flowers. The couple’s parents served dinner to the guests, while Amy and Nathan shared their first dance outside in the backyard.
